At the defunct Cha Cha Cha's in Waikk, Shannon Leddy gathered a few friends for a plate of nachos six years ago. For months, they had intended to launch a blog about nachos, asking which restaurant utilized the best or most interesting ingredients. Which restaurant's nachos had the ideal ratio of toppings to chips? Whose nachos offered the greatest value? Nachos in Paradise was so created. The blog is still active more than a hundred nacho reviews later, and Leddy has advanced from nacho fan to connoisseur. She keeps organizing once- or twice-monthly get-togethers with pals to sample various nachos across Houston, replete with nacho-themed attire and rating cards (which all attendees must complete).
